Our motto argues that ‘it is better to stumble with your toe than to stumble with your tongue’ (Swahili proverb) because, as is often said, ‘if language is not correct, then what is said is not what is meant, and if what is said is not what is meant, then what ought to be done remains undone’ (Confucius). Thus, the phenomenon of language and communication confronts us everywhere in life whether we are busy at home, on a farm or in a company factory.
